Maha Maudgalyayana an' jyrui vreh kiw, hiongr Vuddyy ee kax qnialew, suar qra Vuddyy qongw, "Guaw dongcox dirr lo nirr juer kitjiac, duw diyc Uruvilva, Gaya, qapp Nadi jitt snax xee Kasyapa hniadi decc suan'iongg qangxsuad Zulaii inenn ywgi. Guaw liammix huatsimx did diyc dua tongdat. Zulaii sur guaw qasex cing dirr sinkux. Taumox cuiwciux jiauu tir driau. Guaw dirr sibhongx iulik, longxx byy quawgai. Sintongx kexhuad bingqngx, virr cuiqiw si busiong, jniaa juer arhat. M na Sewjunx, sibhongx Zulaii iarr janwtanr guaw sintongx ee lat uanbuanw bingqngx cingjing, jurjai byy soxx qnia’uir. Maha Maudgalyayana arose from his seat, bowed at the Buddha’s feet, and said to the Buddha, "Once when I was out on the road doing alms rounds, I met the three Kasyapa brothers—Uruvilva, Gaya, and Nadi—who proclaimed for me the Thus Come One’s profound principle of causes and conditions. I immediately brought forth the resolve and obtained a great understanding. The Thus Come One accepted me, I was spontaneously clad in the kashaya and my hair and beard fell out by themselves. I roamed the ten directions, having no impeding obstructions.  My spiritual penetrations, which are esteemed as unsurpassed, and I accomplished Arhat-ship. Not only the World Honored One, but the Thus Come Ones of the ten directions praise my spiritual powers as being perfectly clear and pure, masterful, and fearless. The Buddha asks about perfect penetration. By means of unrelenting attention to the profound, the light of my mind was revealed, just as water becomes clear when the mud settles. Eventually my mind became pure and lustrous. That is the foremost means."

大目犍連。即從座起。頂禮佛足。而白佛言。我初於路乞食。逢遇優樓頻螺。伽耶。那提。三迦葉波。宣說如來因緣深義。我頓發心。得大通達。如來惠我袈裟著身。鬚髮自落。我遊十方。得無罣礙。神通發明。推為無上。成阿羅漢。寧唯世尊。十方如來歎我神力。圓明清淨。自在無畏。佛問圓通。我以旋湛。心光發宣。如澄濁流。久成清瑩。斯為第一。
